Mudug entirely Joining central state is not to bad for darod

Postby Khalid Ali » Thu Jul 31, 2014 6:55 pm

Mudug is half Darood half Hawiye geographically and some would even argue that Galkacyo is overwhelmingly dominated by the Darood clan. How ever if Mudug the north of the region and Galkacyo district jariban and goldogob join the new central state Darood will still have a large voice in the new state politically, it could get the vp or even president u will have 3 darood sub clans there Marehaan Cumar Maxamuud and Leelkase versus HG cayr salebaan saruur and selebaan duduble to, and than dir it will be a well balanced state. Why do darood want to have all their eggs in one basket Puntland still have 2 regions in Puntland.. Jubbaland darood and a shared state in the central regions, Which makes it 2 and a half, for the darood clan.

Not a good idea. Any place with HAG population is in danger of becoming lawless. It is better to reject it.

Puntland holds the northern part of the region of Mudug but if it joined with galguduud it would change the demographics of the new state. You would have Darood Hawiye and Dir in the central state. Gaadsan the Habargedir duduble And Marehaan MJ and Leelkase. Puntland still has the 2 regions , and in the whole federal scheme of Daroods qabil objectives having 2 majority states and one state it is a major share holder. Why would u oppose it , if the darood really want clan federalism they should go for it its a win for them really

Khalidali waa munaafiq. I don't understand why so many people entertain his bullshit. This guy would love nothing more for places like Puntland or any proper functioning maamul in Somalia to disintegrate. According to him, Somaliland benefits from such stuff.

Chinaman actually not i purely look it from a daarood point of view, by the way if pl rejects the unity of Mudug under one state it undermines the whole 2 regions and more state can be come a federal state u cant break up a region.. There are many things good for Somaliland , but for Sl it does not matter whether mudug joins all of it puntland ot central state.

At this point Puntland has been established for 16 years. There is absolutely no reason to include north Mudug and into the central state. It will just create more problems. What they should do is take south Mudug and include that with the other gobols. Fuck the constitution at this point. It's just a couple of papers that are there no one else abides by it.
