Who's orchestrating all these assassinations of MPs? Is it Villa Somalia, Al-Shabab or someone who has a personal ax to grind? There was such an incredible promise and hope for stability just 12 months ago in Mogadishu, all for naught now.

Somalia needs a strongman to clean house and put the fear on freelance killers. A strongman not based on clannish ideas but one who would impose his will and implement the laws of the land. They need to vet out the army from clannish criminals who kill for the sake of outdated ideological legacy. If thousands of AMISOM soldiers supplemented with hundreds of SNA can't bring peace to Mogadishu, what hope is there for the rest of the country?
