The ethio-hiiran-leader farah abdulqadir was supporting baladweyne to become the federal state but now geedi with his ethiopian relations has jumped in and wants to lead this state!

They can continue as governorships so I guess its better in that way.

Btw geedi is the closest banadir politician to hiiraan even more than hassan sheekh. He's been visting baladweyne since the mid 90s for political cooperation on behalf of ali mahdi, has partaked and co-orginized some conference in baladweyne check his wiki
