I dont know why you have to tell us the clan the owner of the pastry shop belongs to. Not necessary.

Italians work in Mogadishu hotels, it's not a big surprise. Take Maka Al Mukarama for example, the chef is Italian, that's why if I want to eat pasta, I pay them a visit.

what this tells me, is apart from somali bantu, the typical somali does not have any work ethic
if the country ever stabilizes, somali ladies would be "ordering" maids to clean the house
and like the fat sheikhs in the gulf, all most all of the jobs would be filled by foreigners .
