This proves that it is possible for the Somali region to secede. If Eritrea was able to pull it off, so can we. If a proper state was to be exist in Somalia, we could easily pull it off. Today, Ethiopia has no allies and the Soviet Union is long dead. My hometowns Bokh iyo Dogob will one day be free, inshallah.

Only this Majertein kid above made sense of the maps and understood its geopolitics. Only two areas were outside Addis' 500km radius by at least 500km and while one (Eritrea) has already succeeded in its secession, the question remains why the second couldn't achieve it.

Equally from the map the closest country to Addis Ababa is Djibouti well within the 400km radius.
