The other two main towns in the region, Southern Gaalkacyo and Dhuusomareeb, both seem to have seen better days and neither, at the present, is fit to host a presidential palace in a major 'federal' region.

Cabudwaaq is the largest city between Galkacyo and Beledweyne. FYI
