This Prime Minister Has A Power Base, He Is Not The Previous Puppets.

The Other Two were riding on Hutu train and got fired this one knows where his political power base is and as a result
will win the political battle ahead.

You stand with Puntland and Puntland will stand with you, we keep it real. 8-)

I bet $5,000 with anyone here who thinks the PM will resign or be fired!!!!
Things are different this time around, Let the games begin.

I doubt Puntland can do much for the pm besides threatning to cut relationship with the gov.

That's not true!. Puntland has good relations with the west, igad and arab countries and their opinion is well respected. Blady got support form both Jubbaland and Puntland and even got some D&M backing.

anyway doqon baad tahay! i remember you were stern supporter of cullusow and then you turned bitter after he fired saacid .

This so called "help" remains to be seen but its all good if it can improve the pm position but I have my doubts. Only a fool never changes his mind but a wise man do. Besides I'm not bitter but you sound like it; even remembering stuff I posted on here last year. Move on sxb.

The Prime Minister and his political support base plan to put NGO Hassan in his rightful political place.

The latest news I am hearing is the PM plans to split the whole dawlad, taking more than 1/3 of the MPS and half the ministers to Galkayo officially bringing NGO Hassan on his knees.
His planning on calling in International mediators, powers between President and Prime Minister will need to be defined and a ruling voted on before anymore Government activity can be conducted. Puntland along with Jubbaland supports this brave move. :ugeek:

Very wise indeed I like this PM.

PM removes Presidential aide from key post, exposing infighting

Image

MOGADISHU, Somalia Oct 25, 2014 (Garowe Online)- Federal Government of Somalia’s Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed has promoted former Minister of Livestock and Animal Husbandry at the expense of presidential aide, exposing a new political infighting on Saturday, Garowe Online reports.

Prime Minister Mohamed-who rebuffed to listen to calls for cabinet reshuffle postponement by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud overnight on Friday-has replaced Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir- President Hassan’s right hand man and the then minister of Justice and Constitution- with Salim Aliyow Ibrow, Minister of Information Mustaf Sheikh Ali Dhuhulow told reporters in Mogadishu.

Though the cabinet reshuffle affected several other ministries, the epicenter of the political infighting between the two men appears to be exposing with visible momentum. Mahad Mohamed Salad, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs who criticized Prime Minister for diving the country along tribal lines after 12-point agreement struck by Mogadishu-based central Government and Puntland also appeared in the decree as Deputy Minister of National Planning and International Cooperation.

Presidency sources confirmed to GO that Mohamud was at odds with the Prime minister, asking him to abandon Abdulkadir. As deeply embedded political division continuous to pose challenges to efforts of fending terror threats off, largely in southern and central Somalia President Hassan is likely to face another stumbling block in his push for exerting influence over the Prime Minister.

In late 2013, Mohamed’s predecessor, Abdi Farah Shirdon was ousted in parliamentary no-confidence vote. On 22nd of February , Al Shabaab gunmen in military fatigues launched a deadly assault on the the presidential compound in Mogadishu ,and killed senior government officials. Large scale theft of government funds dealt blow to the ties between President Mohamud ,and donors as Mohamud’s administration could hardly wean off International help. Political infighting within the more permanent government since state collapse in 1991, complex clan politics and clan loyalties have far and away led to risky quandaries. AW, Gheedi was a cunning politician. I dislike him but nicca was smart he got what he wanted which was destroying HG politically, economically and militarily speaking. His harti abgaal militia looted every single HG area and they stopped as soon as they entered abgaal dominated areas. Not to mention he made sure that no ethiopians were stationed in abgaal dominated areas. And those who got all the blame were MJs and xabashida when infact he was the mastermind.
