Its 140 signatories but the promised number to vote against the pm is 150 mps

I39 votes can oust him!

mps will debate on the motion by saturday

Then yuulka will be called to face his big day!.

Pm Yuulka is gone for good. 140 mps have singed the no confidence vote and only 139 votes are needed to useat him! The quesion now is who will be the next pm? Will the next pm come from Mariixaan, MJ or Ogaadeen?

I think this will be the last pm bc this govt is tasked to deliver certain policies that should sort out all the somali conflicts so in the next stage we can look after ourselves but if there's political infightings it will effect the process

Most people think that the IC was with the pm, no bc they didn't support his reshuffle rather r calling for settlement instead of forming a new govt

For these reasons the president have to be carefull this time

Should be some one who has close interests with his group but I don't think he will hail from the same subclan as the previous ones.

Madaxtooyada iyo raisul wasaraha maa dhaxaltooya? Sababta ee ka yimaadeen laba qabil halkay beey kaga qorontahay dastuurka? There should be two parties and people should have representation within these two parties irrespective of clan BS. 4.5 thing and federalism is a crap in my opinion. How is it any different from prior dictatorial regime playing the tribal card? It should all be based on merit, experience and education.

@GoodShepherd,

I am the crazy one who follows Somalia politics

Average Djiboutian goes about their business of living and don't know much about Somalia politics, if anything, they follow other Francophone countries politics much closer. Just the other day, Djiboutian youths were demonstrating for more freedom because they heard Burkina Faso (former French colony) president was deposed. I don't even know where Burkina Faso is on an African map much less their politics. I find Somalia, Soomali-Galbeed, NFD and Djibouti politics interesting. I look forward to one day riding a camel and traveling from the northern tip of Somali land to the southern tip of Somali land without being asked about my qabil and getting slaughtered...wishful thinking on my part, I suppose.

My prediction is that the president willl appoint onother Marehan guy from Damjadid group. The guy is Dr Doodisho who is Hassan Sheikh's long time friend and one of his groopie. Dr Doodishi is also very close to Farah Abdulqadir who is the president's mentor. The new prime minster should be either Damjadiid or pro-HAG. The reason i say that is Hassan and Farah shuould be careful this time when appointing a new prime minster. This is their last chance and they won't be able to sack a third prime minster with in 3/4 years.

If Doodisho is not appointed then I predict Mohamed Farmajo because he is very Pro-HAG. The condtions that the coming prime minster should fulfil is that he should be able to work with in the limits of HAG and Damjadid policies and that he is absolutely free from Darodism.

I don't think so!

Firstly he can't be dj, that's totally wrong conclusion

He has to be very important regionally and internationally so he can arase this pm from memory

AU countries are aware of the current arrangements thats why they r not on the side of yuulka

But this person must be some one who has no big ambitions and has business/interest minded personality no problem if he changes by 2016 and tries with his luck as presidential candidate

His regional relations may consolidate the govt being their ally

His international image will be good for the donors

Not at all some one who's unknown to the national, regional and international stages!

Lastly I got an info of him being from different subclan

Heard that present told some folks you have put me in an ending interim situations!!

@sahal
I dont know what logic your using, suppose the president chose someone is known and has regional relations but wouldnt be able to work with the prez, then his national and regional relations would be of no benefit as the gov would once again get into a gridlock. As much as regional and national relations may be important, they should be something that's secondary. The most important thing is to find someone who can work with the prez and is a competent guy. They need to be isku aragti, isku mabdah, hassan needs to think long and hard before appointing the next PM, something he should have done the first time. You would think he learned something from seeing what had happened presidents and the prime ministers and try to identify the best way to for this not to repeat itself during his time in office.
I hope he picks someone he actually knows, he shouldn't trust his advisor's again.

In the long term yeah bc ethiopia has its post-2016 xisaabaat

But I believe this was part of some previous compromise, however, some circles who r close to the president have brought the current pm on the bases of other continental xisaabaat

Most leaders of the govt have mutual relations with the AU, this may have saved them this time

Politics work differently

Yuulka had no relations to begin with, he was only exploiting the situation but the fuss he made has been decisively extinguished.

Which subclan? What about the rumors saying that the next pm will be Hussein Abdi Halane an Ogaden guy from Killingka 5aad?

The motion is not yet stamped that it has been received which could take up 5 days. Once it has been stamped, it will be at Jawaari's table for 5 days to review its legality.Once deemed legal, Jawaari will bring forth to the MPs to read it. The reading and reviewing takes 2 days. Next, they will discuss the motion (which depends on the quorum), the date to vote on it follows.

Marka, it won't be until late November or December before the MPs put the motion to vote.

he was born in bakool.

No I don't know wich clan let alone the subclan but I had the info that president hassan is this time trying with a new folks

Interests will play big role in picking a pm also wich adviser will pick him

One some adviser picks the pm, it will consolidate his position in the govt bc they will impose themselves through him

Guuleed was marginalized after saacid left the place

As for halane he fits that criteria.

He's close to farah abdulqadir, even he was his candidate but guuleed had another candidate called goonjeex

President couldn't choice between them so as a result of this, he had gone for a third marginalized group who were not making the local policies but had the arab file like the ex deputy FM mohamed nuur gacal and ridwan hirsi(was kinda staff) who brought this pm. This group r still with the pm.

But I heard this time president hassan will consult the people

Yuulka was coincidential.
