شهدت العلاقات المصرية الصومالي عودة قوية بالفترة الحالية، حيث أعلن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي أنه لن ينسي الشعب الصومالي، وأشادت الصومال بالعلاقات مع القاهرة عقب تقديم السفير المصرى وليد محمد إسماعيل أوراق اعتماده للرئيس الصومالى حسن شيخ محمود، وذلك بحضور محمد دعالى بايلة، وزير الخارجية الصومالى، وأعضاء السفارة المصرية فى مقديشيو، حيث تم بحث سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية والتعاون المشترك بين مصر والصومال فى جميع المجالات، وطلب الرئيس الصومالى نقل تحياته وخالص تقديره للرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسى.

وأكد السفير المصرى عقب اللقاء، خلال المؤتمر الصحفى مع وزير خارجية الصومال، دعم مصر للصومال فى كل المجالات، خاصة التعليم والصحة والتدريب، مشيرا إلى قرار الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسى بزيادة المنح الدراسية المقدمة للطلاب الصوماليين فى الجامعات المصرية إلى 200 منحة دراسية سنويا، ومعاملة الطلاب الصوماليين فى الجامعات المصرية معاملة الطلاب المصريين.

ومن جانبه، أكد وزير خارجية الصومال اعتزاز بلاده بالعلاقات الأخوية التاريخية التى تربط بين البلدين، وتطلعه إلى تعزيز آفاق التعاون بين مصر والصومال، مشيدا بالدعم الذى تقدمه الحكومة المصرية للصومال فى كل المجالات، خاصة فى مجال التعليم.

وقام السفير وليد محمد إسماعيل، سفير مصر في الصومال، بحضور مراسم تسليم المساعدات المقدمة من وزارة الدفاع المصرية للجيش الصومالي، والتي تضمنت حاويتين من المهمات المختلفة، حيث أقيم احتفال بهذه المناسبة في ميناء مقديشيو، بحضور وزير الدفاع الصومالي وعدد كبير من قادة الأفرع الرئيسية بالجيش الصومالي، وأعضاء السفارة المصرية في مقديشيو.

وأكد السفير إسماعيل على اهتمام مصر بدعم الصومال في جميع المجالات وتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين.

وأكد وزير الدفاع الصومالي عمق العلاقات التي تربط بين مصر والصومال في كل المجالات، معربًا عن بالغ شكره للرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي وكل من وزيري الدفاع والخارجية على المساعدات المقدمة للجيش الصومالي.

وحضر السفير وليد محمد إسماعيل، سفير مصر بمقديشيو، مراسم تسليم المساعدات المقدمة من وزارة الدفاع المصرية، إلى الجيش الصومالي، والتي تضمنت حاويتين من المهمات المختلفة، وذلك في إطار تعزيز العلاقات بين مصر والصومال.

وذكر بيان لوزارة الخارجية أن الاحتفال بهذه المناسبة أقيم في ميناء مقديشيو، بحضور وزير الدفاع الصومالي، وعدد كبير من قادة الأفرع الرئيسية بالجيش الصومالي، وأعضاء السفارة المصرية في مقديشيو.

جاء ذلك خلال استقبال فضيلة الإمام الأكبر شيخ الأزهر الشريف، الثلاثاء، بمقر مشيخة الأزهر السفير وليد إسماعيل، سفير مصر الجديد لدى الصومال، بمناسبة تعيينه سفيرًا جديدًا لدى الصومال.

وتم خلال المقابلة تبادل وجهات النظر من أجل العمل على دفع العلاقات الثنائية بين الأزهر والصومال في كل المجالات.

وطلب السفير من فضيلة شيخ الأزهر زيادة المنح المقدمة من الأزهر الشريف لطلاب وطالبات دولة الصومال لتشمل الكليات العملية، وتزويد دولة الصومال بمكتبة إسلامية ترعى الفكر الوسطي المعتدل هناك.

وقد رحب فضيلة الإمام الأكبر بالسفير، وتمنى له التوفيق والسداد في مهمته الجديدة بالصومال، مبديًا استعداد الأزهر لدعم الصومال في جميع المجالات الثقافية والدينية.

وقرر فضيلته زيادة المنح المقدمة من الأزهر الشريف لطلاب وطالبات دولة الصومال لتصل إلى 10 منحٍ بالكليات العملية.

i feel sorry for the Egyptians in 2018 the political dispute with the Ethiopians will kick of by that time Somalia will still be in the same mess very sad the Egyptians want to use Mogadishu as a tool to fight Ethiopia, but its hopeless Ethiopia already is inside Somalia, ofcourse those scholarships will help in the long term but it will not benfiti Egypt in the next coming years .
