quick political settlement to the crisis, the heat on amisom

Postby sahal80 » Tue Nov 18, 2014 11:20 pm

Donors and troop contributing countries meeting in halane was about one thing; getting quick political settlement to the govts crisis

Amisom has pressured a lot in there to find a quick solution since the US making significant cuts in the financial assistance it gives to Somalia targets amisom before the govt

Amisom has alluded that if the president doesn't accept the pm to settle the things in this way

Uganda has sent delegation, somali presidents meeting with djibouti president in his way to copenhagen was about this

This means when the president is back there must be radical change

IC is adopting amisom position

Since the pm has lost 75% of his cabinet members the heat is on him this time

He has only got to resing.

Recap:

1. You said the world will tell the PM to go since they are on President's side

(The world turned out to be on PM's side)

2. Next you said he would resign

(He did not)

3. You said DJ would buy a vote of confidence and parliament would settle

(Corrupt MPs were exposed and Parliament became shimbirayow heesa---exactly as many predicted it would be)

4. Next you said the PM would resign

(He did not)

5. Then you said the ministers would resign bringing down his government

(No minister resigned when the PM asked them to resign if they are unhappy)

6. Next you said the PM would resign

(He actually fought back harder)

7. No when all avenue has closed you said AMISOM will interfere against the PM because Americans threatened to cut their aid

(The same Americans that were most blunt speakingin favor of the PM ccontinuing his role in the government)

8. Once again you say he will resign

Ever heard of a broken record?
