In july 2014 Somaliland installed their own Air controlling equipment, minister mahamoud hashi abdi anounced that they have the capability to control Somaliland air space.
What the former interior signed in turkey was never adopted by the somali govt, the guy was just too powerful so he gave go-ahead to the agreement but when he was back, he let this file for the aviation minister ciilmooge and cali madoobe the chairman of the somali aviation bc it was not his field or some one who's technician. There was big file with these folks and even the international organization was against this bc they had some old mogadishu codes
