This is a disgrace for Burco and Somaliland! Shame on the taliyaha! Shame on the prison officers! Shame on the TV station!

Am I the only one shaking with anger?

How could they chain and parade a mental patient? How dare they ask for indemnity?

By the look of the guddoomiyaha beesha when the “prisoner” reiterates his innocence, my cynical mind tells me, there is more to this story than we know.

Toloow; is the whole thing staged to collect ransom? A kind of collusion between TV stations and hoodlums ?

If there were an ounce of truth to this, they would have paraded the orphaned kids and asked for money to help them.

Please dont jumb to the conclusion the prison is a criminals bank, officers are required to keep those crimials very carefully. They may have good reason to chain him like that because he is voilent, I dont know. Its worth mentioning that Somaliland penalt code is completely islamic sharia based when it comes to murder cases. that means even president silanyo can not pardon this man let alone the prison officers. The easiest way is to find his family so they can deal with the orphaned family and the man will be released when the two sides agree something. The problem is his family never showed up and no one else promised to pay the diya or take care of himself if he gets out. This is why the prison officers are using the media to get some solution for this man's problem. Who will pay the diya ? Who will take care of himself when he is released ?

So it turns out the man isn't Xawaadle? That police chief is one shady character, almost made the Cali's pay a handsome sum for a a complete random. Release the poor man already, he's a troubled human being and not a convenience for profit

Media + clan system is powerfull identity too.l withing 2 days tha mans family was found. They have been searching him 20 years. Reporter abdi malik accidently met the man in jail while he was reporting burao jail condition. Its sad that some people though this video is about ransom or something. Not walahi abdi malik waa weriye sharaf leh oo togdher caan ka ah, mararka qaar dadka baahan buu ugu adeegaa xirfadiisa si ninkan oo kale.

Alxamdulilaah arintaasi way dhamaatay
