Ayr is a town in Scotland.
Btw the Italians however commemorated their Colonial history in the public realm (e.g street names) which is usual in those nations that participated in the scramble for Africa. E.g - Jamaica street, in London and countless others. But in the Somali context in Rome - Via chisimaaio, Via Ogaden, Via benadir Via Migiurtinia etc.
