Islamic terrorists as sponsored missionaries

Postby Sagaashan » Wed Apr 15, 2015 12:28 am

The victims of these groups across the globe-Shabaab, Boko Haram, Taliban, ISIL/ISIS, etc-are predominately and overwhelmingly innocent Muslim civilians and bystanders. I feel like these terrorists cannot be Muslims if their main targets are other Muslims. Are they just driving Muslims to hate Islam, are they driving away converts, are they simply destroying Islam within. How else would you explain them killing pious Muslims during prayer times, killing imams in the mosque, or targeting people after prayers. These groups are either criminal enterprises or evangelical groups working against the peaceful nature and message of Islam. Every time I hear these groups on the news/tv, the more I believe they are sponsored and funded by some church group. I don't think Islam's message would be successful as long as these guys are on the news.

Nonsense. A lot of people convert to Islam for this very reason. Has it ever occurred to you why a good number of the converts are ex-convicts, drug addicts, and people with a criminal past?
