in reality Somaliland passport has more credibility and well advanced than the Somalia passport. only few countries does not accept our passport at all, most importantly Saudi arabia. the rest of other countries don't mind somaliland passport as long as the person is illegible to obtain their visa. you can't get Somaliland passport from now on unless the government have your finger print,eye print,your photo, your clan name and your clan cheif approves you, Which means we are 100% who is using our passport. at the other hand Somalia passport is the cheapest travel document on earth, you can buy it from any street and you can claim Somalian no matter what you are.

Somaliland can easily retaliate by refusing entry to Somaliland for all Walaweyns with Somalia passports.

I don't see the problem. If I was walking around with a fake British passport in Heathrow airport I would get locked up too.

Someone carrying a fake passport is completely different to someone carrying a passport issued by the authority that rules half of the country you claim to represent.
