There are more mosques in some cities in North America than so-called Muslim countries. Isn't it a hypocrisy at its best that we come to these countries build mosques freely, yet we don't want to award the same rights to non-Muslims in Muslim countries. I don't get it.

Also, the Mogadishu Cathedral is part of Mogadishu history and identity and should be restored.

I'm all for restoring the Catholic Church, but shouldn't we focus on maintaining security in Mogadishu first? One can only imagine Al-Shabaab fanatics openly targeting this church and trying to destroy it, so there needs to be a lot of security around this building.

I remember a few weeks ago someone made a thread about an old Anglican Church in Hargeisa
that was sold by the government and was being renovated for some other purpose by the buyer.
He used it as a tribal insult but here he is fine with the one in xamar being rebuilt.
