the Favori LLC,a Turkish also manages Everything at the airport after taking it over from dubia based SKA air logistics that used to manage and did first upgrades.

In Egal, the Kuwaitis gave us money, but the rest of the process was handled by Somaliland government. Also the airport management has always been under Somaliland govt.

from your government budget, security, airport, seaport, city roads, all the way down to garbage collection is done by outsiders. So how can you even begin to talk.

I see its easier to talk about this building belong to my clan, than to discuss what happened to the building? Who bombed the building? why and how did they manage to slip through security and checkpoints?

So, who are the real al-shabaab? Not afartan wiil ee duurka ku jira with their black flag. But the real culprit? Those who facilitate alshabaab's missions.

Hargeysa international airport

I actually think that the Hargeisa airport building is nice...have you seen how ugly Gatwick is? The paving is nice, they've landscaped it and its size is proportional to the traffic it will get.

Also....if some dude owns a building, does his entire subclan get to bask in his glory? Weird mindset.

Congrats to both Hargeisa and Mogadishu....regardless of who built what, the focus should be on how it will benefit the locals and the region as a whole.

I m not interested the things b/w u and Gjamac it is not making sense but want to correct few things in ur post.

Turkish government has nothing to do with Mogadishu airport, there is a Turkish company which the government of Somalia has contracted to modernize and run/manage the airport. The company has modernized the airport and manage it. What ever income the company generates from the airport is divided 45/55 where government gets 55%.

Same formula was used in Mogadishu port, this is an international standard, governments all over the world r realizing that private companies are more efficient then government run department.

I failed to see Gjamac's logic of posting pictures of xamar and Hargeisa airports, I didn't get what was his point! If he was comparing then we have been there many yrs comparing few shit building in one city to an other building whichever individuals have built.

One thing that amazes me in Snet is us repeating something again and again and maybe hoping different results.

At times we argue over SL/Somalia issue where each camp is repeating same line! Then what is the point? One debate should be enough unless we r bringing new points to the table.

At times we even get lower and compare buildings in our cities building which we haven't even built by our self.

My fellow Somalineters can we grow from this
