Kulahaa naag bay kutiri ninkaaga haka qaadan lacag sidaa darteed 1 sano ayaan kugu xukunay. Amanka ayay qalqalgalisay Somaliland maadaama ay islaamo lahadashay marka waa in wadankeedii Cadaado loodhoofiyo. Habargidir lives in Gobolka sool which Somaliland claim as its territory. Why are we being deported if they want to claim adhicadeeye as their cityxergeeye wrote:only the defenseless are prosecuted for blasphemy laws , to the full extent of the law too....

its not an issue of Reer-hebel,,this is merely an example of the extremely corrupt and flawed Somaliland judicial system where the weakest of society get the hardest blow of the justice. I doubt this lady was ever represented in court, matter of fact, the argument "Naag reer koonfur ah oo sheekadii al shabaab akhrinaysa" might have biased the whole court proceedings..She might have been misinformed herself by a random Youtube clip or a lunatic Somalilander/Somali/Djiboutian/Martian/lunar sheikh-wannabe. A prerequisite for blasphemy laws should be a medical examination, is it considered in this case? what about a referral to one of thoseRugta Cilaajka that Hargeisa is teeming with, has she been referred to a so-called Dabiib for Assessment of Jin/Il/Quruumo. How much does the fact that she is a illegal immigrant (in the legal sense) played in the hearing considering a country where no one possess any identification to proof their citizenship (Again in the legal sense most of the populous are illegals). ....I am gonna stop my rant here...Sumubaridi wrote:Kulahaa naag bay kutiri ninkaaga haka qaadan lacag sidaa darteed 1 sano ayaan kugu xukunay. Illegal or legal someone who poses risk to the country should be treated as suspicion.
But then again how many AS suspected of terrorism without free trial were tied and shot by the so called federal govt.?
The hypocracy here.
Consider how we treat her very lucky.

But don't you think we should aspire for a better system considering we have functioning government for 20 years now. Criticism should be welcomed esp from concerned citizens...Ignore the childish thread title....Hodan94 wrote:Illegal or legal someone who poses risk to the country should be treated as suspicion.

Ofcourse we need a better system. System can sometimes be flawed yes. But believe me many native ppl are also in the cells because of similar actions.
And theyre also being watched so that they could gather evidence to then prosecute.
Its mostly citys that have these issues. Small towns and villages across the country all know each other so its all good.

Knowing our system I highly doubt a local would have received the same harsh punishment. The problem with our judicial system is that we don't take the system seriously. One can simply opt out from Appearing in court if tribal leaders agree to a solution. despite my opposition to Siilaanyo's government I applauded the decision to make Rape cases matter of government rather than an issue between clans.Hodan94 wrote:Ofcourse we need a better system. Our court systems are an epitome of injustice on every level, from the judge to the traffic officer. If somaliland is to prosper we have to to put our tribal affiliation and US-Versus-THEM thinking and accept criticism.
