Your brain must be located in your anus. Erecting a statue of a rebel group would be like shooting yourself in the foot.

I admire some of the moves the USC made, but erecting a statue for them is going too far.
The past is the past. Do you want people that had family members brutally murdered by them to be reminded constantly about the horrors.

Just leave it as it is.

USC were freedom fighters, heroes, and Mujahids, no sympathy for Dooros. they have committed as much atrocities as the rest

But Somalis can collectively agree in this time that Sayidka was a great man.
He fought my clan too, no fucks given he was a great man.

Wrong assumption. Sayid was nothing more than a terrorist. No difference from today's al kalaab. But the Dooros used the state resources to brainwash many into believing something he wasn't.

Why do Samaroons have a soft spot for Dooros though. Is it my enemy's enemy is my friend type of shidh

Roble,

I strongly disagree with you. If the POS President Sharif Ahmed could name an airport after the blood thirsty Abdullahi Yusuf, why not erect a monument for the USC?

Haywire,

'Adeer, I have studied HAGism for years and met with the Great Elders of HAG. From my research, there are 4 kinds of HAG:

1. The Red Blooded HAG - Unbashedly pro his qabiil and defends the tol's interest

2. The Docile HAG- Naive and stupid but can be swayed in either direction

3. The Dabodilif HAG - A vile creature who panders to the Jeberti to curry favor with them

4. The quiet HAG - Has no opinion either way but when push comes to shove, this HAG will fight boldly.

I consider number 3 to be the worst and to a lesser degree number 2. I am compiling the stories of the Great HAGists of the last 100 years and noticed that the Jebertis and their dabodilif allies worked hard to undermine them.

Our people are either red blooded HAG with limited support among tolka, dabodilif HAG who are unrestrained, or the docile naive ones who believe in failed concepts like Somaliweyn, and lastly the quiet ones.

Why did the Jeberti regime not honor greater men like

Sheik Barsane

or the achievements of the Ajuuraan Empire who kept the filthy Abysinnians and Portugese aggression in check? They instead LIONIZED Sayid because he was Jeberti.

No soft spot for Dooros, most of my buddies are Irir Samaale(Hawiye). I just don't think erecting a statue for a rebel group would be a smart move.

Okay you have a point my brother.

It was a regime driven by qabyaalad. All the great Somali individuals should be honored equally and respectively.
Dooros are pretty self-centered baboons I give you guys that, but erecting a statue for the USC won't do you guys any good.

Couldn't agree with you more. It is a dilemma for someone like me, I come across some of idiots you describe in this forum. I try not to karbaash them, but some times I can't restrain myself, and smack them around. We need to build one of those Nazi gas chambers and burn the deadwood ASAP.
