Mjomba, Puntland will not want to start war too because they will not only loose business from Galmudug passengers but all airlines will not go to a war zone. So everyone will loose.

Here is what puntland will do.

1) They will restrict planes as much as they can until they realize there is a fleet that operates in Galmudug who don't care about Puntland airspace. The airlines that use Puntland Airspace will put pressure on Puntland because they will loose revenue. They will tell puntland they want to get some of that business too. The airlines will see if they can get more revenue by cutting ties with puntland. So some will switch sides if they can get more revenue. At the end, Puntland will come around and say everyone do whatever they want. If Galmudug people do not fly a lot, puntland will shut down that airport strategically because airlines will want to appease Puntland.

2) Galmudug needs to convince airlines from cadaado to make stops at Oshaco because the airlines in Gaalkacyo might already enjoying enough revenue and will not want to risk switching sides

Why not just pure market competition?

Walle xasid batahay, u want us to stay in our current state forever. I used to strongly believe in it once but realized it just a dream. Foreigners are stealing our resources/ dumping shit in our ocean and what does an average skinny doing, thinking and screwing another somali. Let everyone handle their affairs independently.

If war breaks out, Galmudug has Cadaado and Bandiradley, which are less than 3hours away whIle PL only has Garowe and Bosaaso which are much further away.

Cisman Cali Xasan Caato Airport has become a strategic asset that Galmudug will use to boost it's defense.

a lot of war- mongering folks here. No wars will happen. Puntland shouldn't intervene with Galmudug's business , after all Galmudug left Puntland to have all Abdullahi Yusuf Airport. If puntland try and close the new airport, they are asking for war
