Sahal is speaking the truth. Even before the ICU, Mediina and Kaaraan were notorious for being the most dangerous districts in Xamar. Also boosaska xaafadaha abgaalka ku yaallo are on average the most cheapest in Xamar excluding Suuq Bacaad. Other people simply don't like living among Abgaal.

last time i was in madina (1997), they were no kufsi but we use to pay 2000 somali shilling per night to some guy whose his army used to watch the neighbourhood..if you didnt pay they wont guaruntee your safety and they may send some guys to scare u in the night time..baad cad bey ahayd
ps im not saying it was the abgaal who were doin this..infact abgaal were the most friendly pple i ever met in xamar

you are sleeping man. Wake up! Are you telling me the abgaal areas the most unsafe in xamar as we speak? Unsafer than huriwaa,dayniile? Unsafer than all the areas along warshadaha? Unsafer than the areas in and around bakaaraha?
The safest areas are hands down the abgaal areas and the Sacad areas.

We are talking about ordinary civilians here, not govt officials. Furthermore isn't Mediina the district which has the most assassinations in Xamar over the past few years ? Magaalada fowdada ka daaya sxb. Dad ilbax iska dhiga.
