120,000 Hareris think they can beat 40,000,0000 Oromos? [/quote]It's pretty obvious that you can tell from the list of qabil and the lands they inhabitHow did Ethiopians get that many though? I don't think they are allowed to have more than one wife (majority are Christians) and the Ethiopians here in the US have an average 1 or 2 kids. But there are a lot them.
Ethiopia is considered by most a Christian nation, chiefly because the ruling government is Christian, but according to many others, and to several studies, it has, in fact, a predominantly Muslim population. Some put the proportion of Muslims in Ethiopia as high as 65 percent.
Blame the Oromos. Most Hararis have less than 3 kids. When I went to Ethiopia, I saw plenty of oromos livin on the street with 10 children![]()
They are purposely increasing their population unsustainably so that one day theyll have the number to overwhelm all major and minor ethnics in Ethiopia, its been their tactic since they migrated to the highlands 300 years ago.

Its beyond me why a Hybrid Hutu/Barwani spends day and night seeking attention from people who don't know or care about what he is or his opinion. I can think it has something to do with all the alcohol you consume or the excess oestrogen inherited from your barwani DNA...Giving up on Ictiraaf already? If only we had leadership with foresight, unfortunately we have circus clowns and pantomime actors obsessed with scoring cheap points against ''the worlds only failed state''.
We should be looking to make as many friends and allies as possible through long term policies not based on emotions; fear hatred etc, but the well being of both our country and people. This slow walking into the pit of the Ethiopian empire is based on our fear of Somalia.
Our leaders are useless at thinking about strategies only reacting to current development. They are not fit to be leaders. There only saving grace and get out card is, they can point to the south and say; look we are doing better. This in it self shows mentally they have not accepted the idea we are separate country, and we need to compete with the other 188 countries.
This idea of Somaliland getting rich is wishful thinking. One would assume we have either the manpower or weapons to protect our interests against Ethiopia. The truth is when the time is ripe and the people have been turned into zombies like our good friend Hawadian. The will take whats ours and call it theres. The cultural occupation has began and the mental occupation is in full speed mode. The physical occupation will follow soon...
The best outcome for all Somali people would be to set their hate aside and unity under one admin and one country...

''The best outcome for all Somali people would be to set their hate aside and unity under one admin and one country''...LooL that was really funny, i have to give you that.
But now answer the question sxb, why are you giving up on Ictiraaf all of a sudden and want to unite under one country? LooL couple of years back, u were gang-ho about not wanting anything to do with Somalis and Somalia?
LooL what changed, u finally woke up from that Mirqaan to see the truth?

This is why I said soft control. Controlling another country via soft control gives you most of advantages with no disadvantages.Somaliland has leverage over Ethiopia due to the port situation. Ethiopia wont ever try to take somaliland or any other territory inorder to gain a coast since this aint the cold war days and shit like that dont fly in a 24hr media cycle. Somaliland will prosper

Very well put.LooL i always said....Ictiraaf doons are going through the 5 stages of grief.
1. Denial - Qaw Naw Jaw. Hayaay! Dowlad baanu nahay. We are not part of Somalia and never have been.
2. Anger - Blame everything on Wanlaweyns, Xamar, Somalis, Faqash, UN, IC for not getting Ictiraaf.
3. Bargaining - For us to rejoin Wanlaweyns, we would need to be guaranteed our rights, and given top positions in the Federal government and also have a lil self autonomy.
4. Depression - ....
5. Acceptance - Skywalker25
Ofcourse not all of them go through the stages or in that order, but...
That was not my question. You hoped the 40,000,0000 Oromo to leave the city of four walls inhabited by 120,000 Harers? How would you do that?I didnt say anything about Hararis taking on the Oromos, we arent violent expansionists with a primitive mindset who llke to impose their inferior culture on other ethnic groups whilst stealing their lands and then cry wolf when the Habesha do the same. We are better than that. Hararis will do what our ancestors have done for centuries, that is continue making money in foregn lands and contribute to these societies![]()
We have a Jewish mindset now, we know we are a small ethnic group but because our culture encourages intellectual pursuits and seeking knowledge, most Hararis tend to do well in academia and in business in Ethiopia and elsewhere. We help each other out aswell. My uncle who lives in Adis ababa owns the largest car import business in Ethiopia.

The thing, is Ethiopia doesnt have that much power to have proxy regimes in Somalia or anywhere. Russia was pretty much a superpower for decades and Ukraine was apart of the Soviet union so they were always under the influence of Moscow. These are different situations, Ethiopia may influence Somaliland politics but thats it. Woyenne are incapable of projecting that kind of power. Perhaps in the future when Ethiopia becomes a regional power in 50 years but not now. Somaliland leaders are just warming to Ethiopia as they know Ethiopia is key to their future prosperity and they need Ethiopias recognition to secede from Somalia. Somaliland are just playing their cards right. Its a mutually beneficial relationship. This is why I said soft control. One example I stated in the quote is Ukraine. Russia had 'soft control' on Ukraine for ages. It was only recently that the control was lost because Ukraine's original government was overthrown. Russia's heavy reliance on Ukraine on certain areas such as sea navy
Russia invaded Ukraine because Ukraine's original government was overthrown and Russia had too much invested in its sea navy to lose it all. Russia had to invade as result of this.
During the 'soft control' Ukraine did not flourish much even though they prospered. Their potential was stunted heavily. Everything important they could do, they had to ask for a permission from Russia. This is considering that both countries are not even enemy.
Now, what Ethiopia will do? They will do same thing as Russia does. In fact, this is happening right now - how many of Somali leaders do you think has close relations with Ethiopia? All leaders attend Ethiopia for meetings regularly. All have history with Ethiopia.
What would happen if Djibouti said screw you to Ethiopia? Ethiopia won't invade because of military bases and media but they will cry to their western and Chinese masters who then will arrange a regime change.
This is different for Somalia but remember the names media called ICU to justify an invasion before? There is no reason why this can't happen again in the future.

Despite their dubious military intervention, Ethiopia has masterfully lulled Somali “leaders” into a false sense of security and tantalized them with mirage of power.
In addition to its under the radar military mobilization to expand its sphere of influence, Ethiopia has launched a successful campaign of co-option, indoctrination and silencing of key individuals and institutions. Many media professionals were lured by the offer of intensive certification program in journalism, first class hospitality, and generous stipends. Likewise, some officials in the security sector, parliament, civil societies and the political elite.
Ever since the reemergence of the Ethiopian occupation, all key officials in the armed forces, all governors, and ministers with overt sense of patriotism were systematically removed or permanently silenced. The former are often attributed to cockamamie political issues; and the latter to al Shabaab.
These individuals are, by and large, at liberty to scrutinize the government but not the specter of Ethiopian domination.
In today’s camouflaged occupation, Ethiopia has perhaps outdone its own expectation. It now controls all of the strategic seaports except Mogadishu and its troops are present in almost all of Somalia.
Proudly savoring the success of his country’s stealth takeover of Somalia, Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn said his troops already control “more than 60 percent of Somali territory.”
During the joint ceremony held in Djibouti on May 2014, Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh, had this to say “Djibouti gives a port service to Ethiopia but it does not consider that it is giving the service to another country but regards it as it is doing it for itself… We believe that Ethiopia is Djibouti and Djibouti is Ethiopia, no difference at all.”
