As usual the southern Somali hyenas are praying and asking their Voodoo violent Gods for doomsday in Africa's second most populous nation.
Their Gods so far paid them by giving them internal disaster, failed state and endless tribal feuds. On weekly bases more than 100 people die in Somalia over tribal issues.
This week that was the case in Galkacayo, Hiiraan, Shabelle, Kenyan borders, etc.
Ethiopia will not collapse but certainly new group will claim the helm from the minority.
The system of rule is what is needed to be revised ahead. Ethiopia had more than 2000 revolts in its long history and it never failed.
What makes you think in the 21st century your Voodoo Gods will answer your prayers?
Ethiopia is the only hope for stable Horn. Its big stick is needed to keep many in order. Ethiopia is a global partner of peace. I agree its tactics are harsh and we need to reform but it is the only sensible nation in the land with proven record of statehood and friend of peace not to mention diversity.
Rather than blame Ethiopia and waste your energy praying to violent Gods instead of Allah, you need to work on your internal issues. Pray for peace. Praying for the neighbour's peace means internal peace. I know Wanlawein do not have the brain to understand that philosophy.
Meanwhile in Ethiopia...
You have to understand the Ethiopian history, ethnic-dynamics/relations, and faulty lines to know it will not collapse nor disintegrate.
There are several secessionist groups but they are either too weak to cause a collapse or they know they can't declare secession as much as they talk about it or use it as scare tactics.
The biggest group is the Oromo and the Oromo is so divided, there is no chance of them declaring secession to appease the other group. In this instance only Muslim eastern Oromo such as the Afran Qallo, Bale and Arsi are in favor of secession. That means they lack the support of Wollo, Shoa, Wellega, Ilubabor, Karrayuu, Borana and so forth.
Right now the war is within Oromo even though TPLF is arming groups loyal to their vision such as Mukhtar Kedir.
Why would they choose to fight each others in secession when they can fight jointly in Ethiopia against others?
The second group used to be Tigray but that's before Eritrea gained its successful independence and shut the door behind on them. Tigray will be wedged between Ethiopia and Eritrea. They know its suicidal. They will be forced to sing emamaye Itoobiya.
Then you have Cagdheer (not all of them anymore) and some Gambella but the Nuer are under attack in South Sudan so they are better under Ethiopia instead of taking their rule to South Sudan to be dominated by rival Dinka. Gambella will not stand alone.
Afar is the Kurdish of the Horn and all three countries will cooperate (Eritrea, Ethiopia and Djibouti).
They are small and mostly nomads. They possess no clear danger.
Ethiopia is global issue not just Hornians tribal feuds.
