New Eritrea-Ethiopia War

Postby Strategic » Thu Dec 31, 2015 11:13 pm

Lesson for Ethiopia from Russia–Ukraine relations to deter the looming threat from Eritrea from the mouth-peaec of the Gov owned website.

currently, the ultra-rich minipower of Qatar possessed the port of assab for 30 years,AUE is there,Saudi-arabia has signed Both economic-Military deals with eritrea,Kuwait has pledged development projects in eritrea,Eritrea is now partially became arab-sphere of influence.
That is why the USA secrety for african affairs started writing cotroversial paper on how arabs have come to eat the resources of the red sea, urging abyssians to take action against the arabs.lol, ethiopia is very concerned about the flow of cash to the regime which will have further instability in ethiopia.i forsee in the year 2016-2020,we will see major wars fought and shifting of alliances in the region.

You are one funny Wanlawein kid. You always praying for war like the rest of your people.

There will not be any war between Ethiopia and Eritrea. Those small Arab nations neither manufacture nor make arms. They buy from their Western masters and may pass it on to others but it is not sustainable policy.

If the US doesn't like what any of them is doing they can simply suspend any arms deal for them, then what?

They remain powerless and their cash inject into Eritrea will ease things for Isaias Aferwerki internally but he is no fool to get into any issue with Ethiopia, which is now the strongest nation in the region.

These same Arabs will fund the Ethiopian army too.

They need Eritrea for Yemen and Yemen alone. They invited Ethiopia too to play role in the war against Shia.

It has nothing to do with Eri-Ethio issues. The Tigrai regime and the paranoid Tigregus will be wary of Eritrea receiving money from the Gulf states but Ethiopia hell no. Ethiopia long accepted Eritrea's sovereignty and wants to co-exist with her little sister. The Tigregus want to embed themselves in Eritrea but that is not achievable.

Both Eritrea and Ethiopia are invited to the fight against Shia...

Almost 70 companies from Saudia alone are already engaged in the Ethiopian market injecting as much as $370 million per year into the local economy. That is set to grow. So Wanlawein boy you need a new prophecy to entertain yourself with.

It is no secret that every ahmara/tigray dreaming of retaking port of assab from eritrea even by force, this is a sensitive issue which remains unresolved.now since that port was leasing to Qatar, ethiopia has to go to the arabs for negotiations etc.Ethiopia i envision in the next 15 years will be ungovernable, oromos want secession, unstable afar, somali region has problems, add that to sudan, egpyt, and now eritrea which funds amhara guerilla fighters, the never ending draught/famines it is in the interest of ethiopia to have good relations with somalia.

Blood,

You should stick to Abgaal/Habar Gedir mooryaan affairs. Clearly you are clueless.

Ethiopia long moved on and accepted Eritrea's sovereignty. That is why it is spending billions upgrading the Djibouti-lines and building Djibouti-Meqelle line. It wants more lines running from Port Sudan, Berbera and Lamu in Kenya.

You are clueless son.

You don't spend that kind of money only to invade another nation. You spend that money to build opposition forces if you still butt hurt about Eritrea.

Ethiopia sees itself doing business with those ports and when Eritrea normalises relations with Ethiopia, Ethiopia is open to business with Eritrea.

No Oromo want secession except small group brainwashed by Ogaden and Egyptians. They long declined.

Afar are no threat and Afar is more threat to Issa in Djibouti than Ethiopia.

Somali Region will soon pump out the black gold and there is nothing ragtag militia can do about it.

Amhara are always for the unity of Ethiopia and if they take power they will not change the status quo but enhance it since they are more secure than minority Tigrai thus able to relax some of the security.

Ethiopia will be drought free once all the dams come to live. It is building nine dams while in Somalia they struggle with a well.

Keep praying to your voodoo war Gods Wanlawein boy.

LooL Eritrea is outnumbered by Ethiopia 1:18 though. So it wouldn't be a fair fight. And don't forget about the 2k people who Tahriib from Eritrea everyday to escape the forced Military conscription.

But if there is a war, i am rooting for Eritreans...the underdogs in this fight.

Yes indeed your should stick to something you understand because your understanding of Ethiopia is very laughable.

The so called Oromo secession is nothing but small group that long declined. They gained support from some Hararghe Oromo and the Borana. They used to hide in Kenya but after on several occasions Ethiopia invaded Kenya-----Kenya now wants to seal the border. It wants Ethiopian business instead.

Tuesday 08 December 2015
Kenya and Ethiopia have signed a 185-million-euro deal to end conflict along their common border and spur development. The leaders of both countries promised that the deal would create jobs, reduce poverty and foster trade in their restive borderlands, where conflict has intensified in recent years.
Once Kenya is sealed there is no more separatist Oromo hideout. RIP to the small OLF group.

What Oromo want instead is more representation and control over their resources. This is not an issue for Oromo and Amhara but Tigrai and Oromo.

Amhara have enough wealth on their own and do not feel the need to grab Oromo wealth. But Tigray on the other hand is largely barren land with no natural resources. So they are looting Oromo, Gambella and Amhara while in power. There is where the current rift stems from.

The Gambella secession is going to die as well since South Sudan became an independent state and now it's clear the Nuer in Gambella and parts of South Sudan cannot co-exist with the Dinka. It is best for them to remain in the union and get protection from Addis Ababa. The Dinka are backed by Uganda and want to encroach into Gambella resources and South Sudanese oil.

Image

Ethiopia also feels South Sudan should run its oil pipeline via Ethiopia to Djibouti so it can reduce the cost of its own future pipelines such as that one from Ogaden basin.

Ethiopia long moved on from Eritrea but wants economically isolated to ensure Eritrea is not still funding the last ONLF, OLF militia men or even the opposition G7 and the Tigray-backed TPDM.

But no Ethiopian believes in the country becoming failed state like your failed Banana Republic.

Arabs are no longer threat to Ethiopia. They all investing heavily in Ethiopia, Sudan is part of the dam project, Egypt agreed to accept the dam and the rest of Arabia wants to grow its food in Ethiopia, which has massive fertile land, abundance of water and natural resources including human capital.
