I don't get it. What is that got to do with Somalis? Please read the news article. It is talking about a gas production to start in Ethiopian Somali region. As all natural resources in Ethiopia, it belongs to all Ethiopians. For example, this is coltan. A Mineral that is used to manufacture cell phones, and almost all modern electronics. Ethiopia provides 10% of it to the world market. This mineral is found in almost in every part of the country especially the high quality of it in the north and central (Amhara region). However, every citizen of Ethiopia, including Ethio Somalis have a stake in this mineral and have a legitimate right to share it.. Here is coltan in Ethiopia, should you want to look at it...

The unity of Ethiopia is vital for the region's own stability, progress and governance. We can't have another Mengistuland, Tewodrosland, Abdiland, Qafarland, Gebrehiwotland, Nahomland, etc, like Somalia.

We are already here and we must now keep what we have for good or bad. We will eventually learn to live with one another.
