'Puntland has the power to walk away and demand no clan representation. HSM doesn't even have control over the capital with warlords ready to switch sides when it's convenient for them.'

Tell me how can Pl demand no Clan representation When the whole of PL is based on Qabiil,i fail to understand the dhabacyo logic,4.5 power sharing is the Most close thing somalis agree, there might be some opposition but they are less 3% of the people, the south will mature enough to become OWN country thar is will it will eventually come to.

4.5 was 2012 and we all know how corrupted that election was. Even Prof Samatar, who was naive at that time but god bless his soul, finally understood the toxic wasteland that Mogadishu politics were.

You don't go back to do a failed system but elevate and progress to another. This is 2016 and 4.5 has no place in Somalia.

Ask the shacabka if they want 4.5 I'll guarantee you they'll say no.

yeah, that is what is missing, the shacabka vote is missing do you have another alternative to 4.5 system at this Time.corruption exist everywhere so stop throwing that word around, our political system might transition for better but that will take decades, remember it took us years and years to transition from warlordism to functioning state and with the help of IC we will reach there.

With that attitude, Somalia will be stagnant for years to come.

Those politicians deliberately sabotage the 2016 election behind closed doors while telling the world that it will happen with one man one vote. They did that to rack up the donations and then claim that it can't happen. Everybody saw their intentions but people were optimistic.

Now they want their terms to be extended and that's not going to happen.
