Looking at the BBC map of zoomalia al shabaab ain't going no where they are masters of koonfur, xamar amisom xalimo bang camps,and especially kismayo and badhaybo are holding on to dear life. :damn:

It seems every one is avoiding central towns. You can see Ethiopia heavily based near their border, Same goes to kenya. And the pro government forces are mainly based in Mogadishu. There is no one challenging Alshabaab In the rural areas.
