Ethiopia is the new powerhouse in the horn and anybody who thinks otherwise hasn't a clue. The people running the place have serious plans and those include hoovering up the Somali peninsula and everything in it.

Ethiopia is the biggest country in the horn by population and its the headquarters of the African union. That means bigger economy and a place of many political interests. For that reason Somaliland is very much interested to handle at least one third of Ethiopia import and exports, its also the only country that we can use their institutions openly when we face problems related to our lack of recognition. We use all their education institutions such as the healthy, military and civil aviation. We use their services such as the posts and air transportation. That's Mutual interest it does not mean they control us.

If Shacab al Xabash support the annexation then there is no use in trying to resist even if some other Xabashi overthrows TPLF they'll still go for this ... it's especially useless now since their government has developed a taste for taking advantage of weak puppet states and expanding it's control and influence over it's "daughter" as one Xabashi put it in the comments section.
For the South. being a Kenyan province will guarantee stability and end warlordism for good.

That makes no sense and almost sounds like an excuse.Sxb you're overrating Ethiopia's power. Ethiopia's abilty to dominate south-central somalia is because of very bad leadership, on the other hand their ability to dominate SL and PL is because of the docile nature of their people. So skinnies can only blame themselves.
