It's not what I meant. The book is a part of collection
on Africa wars past the 1940's. It's a new book and eye opening hence why I asked.

Cuban mechanised would hit the somalis in the north

Cubans were to advance North of Dire Dawa, reach a high plateau above the town and then take a sharp turn towards the south and hit the main SNA concentrations in the flank

Cuban fighters bombers operated separately from Ethiopians

ETAF fighter-bombers therefore supported ethiopian ground units and Cubans their own.

Cuban ground forces launched a feint attack on Hawale, south of Dire Dawa

Ethiopians and Cubans converged on Jijiga,SNA was outflanked

Ethiopians and Cubans continued their advance aimed at recapturing Kara-Mara pass and attacking Jijiga.

ETAF and DAAFAR( cuban air force) supported this advance

Cubans and Ethiopians then launched outrigh race to reach the Somali border before the remnants of SNA could do so

The massive Cuban- Ethiopian assault combined with heavy aerial bombardment of somali lines..... caused the breakdown of the Somali Army in Ogaden
