That's because your clan and other clans in that region never joined ONLF against Ethiopia and even used to snitch and dabodhilif for Ethiopia against our freedom fighters. Ethiopia targets us and not you because we fight them and threaten them while you and the others are no threat. you are even their allies and are promised protection if you helped them get to us. Those days are over now. I hope the dabodhilif clans enjoy their liyuu abuse now. That's what you get for not supporting ONLF.

1. Maybe if you didn't call it the ONLF other Somali clans would be more willing to join it. Even the SNM were bright enough to call themselves the Somali National Movement.

2. When cagdheers were killing and robbing innocent Isaaq in K5 and Somaliland, was that your way of making friends and recruiting allies?

The reason nobody joins you is because you are munafiiqiin who can't even unite your own clan against xabashi. At least every Isaaq supports Somaliland or it's right to self-determination. You can't even convince your own brothers to join you in your pathetic struggle. We fight them kulaha, the only people you fight are other Somalis, mostly your own kin. Don't act like you are a force. If you were, you wouldn't be colonized today in two different countries.

1. I wasn't talking about 2016 I was talking about ONLF historically and the dabodhilifs smaller clans like yours that were stationed around that region to snitch and inform for Xabashis. Right now things are very different. ONLF is not what it was.

2. ONLF is an appropriate name. that region is historically known as Ogaden by everyone including the British so ofcourse it's an Ogaden National Liberation front. Didn't the British also name you Lalaland?? And Pathetic struggle?? Try taking on Ethiopia with their giant army and the countless snitches and paid stooges that act as your Somali brethren. You said it yourself that it's not all Ogaden fighting Ethiopia it's only subclans. ONLF definitely was a force at its peak no other Somali jabhad like it ever existed but now it's not very strong and many of its members have chosen a different path.

3. You shouldn't talk about our people in Kenya. They're light years ahead of everything you ever stand for. Their cows and goats eat better than your entire people

Ogaden was the name used by the British as a reference to the Italian part of K5 ruled from Mogadishu by the Italian fascists who crossed Shabeelle river on Walaweyn backs..

The tem Ogaden was never used for the Hawd nor the reserve area.

Ogaden was that entire region. Why tf was 1977 war called Ogaden war and not Hawd Ogaden wars??

That's the official name of that region.

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/featur ... 90803.html

ONLF is a perfect name for ONLF. Ogaden is a famous name and historic name for that region. An independent state named Ogadenia will be appropriate. Nothing to do with clan

Remember back in 2013 when Culusoow made some threats that Somalia will use any means necessary to keep the nation's unity intact, Ethiopian prime minister openly said that "We will spare no expense to defend and protect Somaliland." Culusoow had no choice but to shut up. That is the essence of being a protected enclave where Ethiopia can do want it wants, when it wants on the enclave.
"Somaliland is a friend and a key strategic ally for Ethiopia. We will spare no expense to defend and protect Somaliland. We are ready to extend an arm of support to our Somaliland brothers every time they are in need of one,"
http://www.somalilandtimes.net/sl/2013/ ... news.shtml

As for the name of Ogadenia, eydoors have no say in what we call our territory. Even in Jigjiga, the name Ogadenia as reference to the DDSI is very normal. Once the on-going negotioations between ONLF and Ethiopia are finalized, the name will be changed to Ogadenia and also the original flag with the Somali flag in the in the front will be reinstated. The sticking point is now five years vs. ten years in holding the referendum.

The Ethiopians promote the term Ogaden and just like how the French deflected from the term 'Cote Francais Des Somalis' and coined the new term 'Territoire français des Afars et des Issas', in order to divide and rule, the Ethiopians use a similar tactic in order to alienate other Somalis from resisting. Now it looks like an Ogaden struggle (divided even among the Ogadens themselves) and as long as it remains an Ogaden struggle that region will never be free.

Hawd was never part of the Ogaden and was never called the Ogaden even when it was ceded to Haile Selassie in 1954, nor was the reserve area called the Ogaden.

You just need to look at the historical documents.

Guhad:

How do you know Ethiopia will hold a referendum?

ONLF is very weak now, they are not a serious threat to Ethiopia.

Ogaden will always be part of Ethiopia.

Guhad is the living prove of the ''doqonki Ogaden'' tag. All this bravado and chest beating towards other Somali people is smokescreen for the epic mistake his people are about to make. How can you compare a 100 year occupation, with all its barbarity that Ethiopia has imposed on the region, a to few quotes from the leaders of Puntland or Somaliland handing over one or two Ogaden individuals who for what ever reason couldn't stay under the radar, forcing the Somaliland admin of Riyaale, a gudabursi, to hand them over. A policy which has since been removed and rejected. The current Somaliland leader, AM Silanyo , voiced his displeasure towards the Ethiopians, when they decided to attack the ICU. This then resulted in the Ethiopians accusing some of Silanyos admin of being al-shabab sympathises, - strangely enough this is the same accusation those same Hawiye's he was defending are accusing him of being.

This still doesn't justify, the position the likes of Guhad embrace, which is to use Somali's sad situation to wipe away the blood of millions of martyrs who have fought against the occupation and gave their most pressures gift, their life's for it. He does not have the right to say the Somali people are our enemy and Ethiopia is our friend because they built a few airport for their soldiers to land and few roads for their armies to travel on. Its truly sad and short sighted to keep posting pictures a city occupied by Ethiopia, built with both Ethiopian resources and manpower to, Hargeisa a city built by its people with no internationally recognised government or help. This defeats common sense. He can compare his shed to Djabouti a city ruled by Somalis for Somalis. That makes sense.

The Ogaden should be aware of the likes of Guhad and Ina Illeys child. They are Trojan Horses...

Xildiid doesn't matter though my point still stand ONLF and Ogadenia is appropriate because everyone knows that region as the Ogaden.

The Ogaden desert, the Ogaden Basin and the Ogaden region disputed region part of Ethiopia settled by Somalis.

We have to know what is going on with Ethiopian-ONLF negotiations.
Are they close to sign a peace treaty?

Which are the main points of this treaty?

Will Ogaden become in a new country?

Sure, if facts don't matter then we don't need to argue.
