The US trained parashut troops of danab who r based in balidoogle have recently killed top al shabaab leader dulyadayn. This is the first time somali troops conduct such operation since the civil war instead of the US troops

As you can see from the article below it was scheduled to open gaashaan branches in galkacyo and kismayo but the timing may has to do with that successful operation

Another info says that instead of being connected to the SFG they will be an afcom mission

So col barre has been meeting with the US officials in Kenya for opening that branch and operating from there gedo/jubba region against al shabab leaders

This has nothing to do with the SNA as the somali media puts it, take my security account

No details about whether barre accepted the offer and things are the beginning
