Sultan Olole Diinle was not largely an independent man of his own. He was allied with the Italians and often operated under them.

The Italia s sent him as an askari to invade Ethiopia not to free Somali Galbeed but to expand Italian rule in the Horn.

They are mere Italian askaris, armed by Italy, supplied by Italy, tracked and monitored by Italy and photographed for Italian propaganda.

what your talking about is the 1940s. Olol diinles father had been at war with menelik since the late 18 century until his until they captured him at one battle deep in ogaden cuz he used to led the army by himself. Olol has been fighting against them since the early 19 century, he received weapons from the Italians who were then based between jowhar and buuloburde.

Hiiraan was the center of southern salihiya-arrived before the nothern salixiya it was also a true salixiya movement while the nothern one was a distorted takfiiri salixiya. Salihiya concentrates on charity works, r kind to the Muslims and fights against isticmaar

So they didn't accept the Italians despite our ugaas and olol diinle being allies and were against the darawish. Our schollars have refused this.

So salihi indhoceel who killed 7 italians have fled to taleex and sought the darwiish support unlike of what some qabiilist propogandists would like to claim like professor saciid samatar-AUN- that sayidka thought baledweyne a strategic place to defend ogaden lol

See these links. Founder of southern salihiya who arrived somalia before sayidka was hawadle; sh Mohamed guuleed his village still carries the name of the clan

Just to show you the map...the little red area that's adjacent to walawayne-lower shabelle- west of balced 30 km settled by mobolileen cusman clan, hawadle and gaaljecel. Sh hassan barsane-galjecel- was among his followers also sh shucayb-hawadle- his family own now zamzam foundation as salihiya work but they r ikhwan by organization. No clan has more charities than hawadle bc they r salihiya. I can tell you dozens of them.

Italian interests and somali interests were the same though we were against their isticmaar they believed the land belongs to somalis not the Abyssinians. this has to do with second world war as Britain was with ethiopia. Italy has annexed JL based on its somali population they even claimed the bajuni islands says that they r banadirs just like the sawahi speaking barawanis. Bajuni wanted to be part of their mumbasa sawahili brethern. Finally olol diinle was recognized as the sultan of shabelle by the italians.
