Others subscribed nothing for me, Isaaq has always been associated with dir long before there was Somalia let alone the current wanlaweyn 4.5 system which I wholeheartedly admire it's role to keep Dir together. Gurey made interesting point, the mahe dir he is referring to are none other than our own clan ancestors. I never ruled out the possibility of minority decedents of who ever Yemeni sheikh or dilaal that came to Sanaag Shores living among us or daroods.

Kkkkkkk I left bay and bakool on my own accord. Eelay beggars did not liberate even a single street.abrahamic you said that rahanweyn is the largest clan family in somalia so could you explain to us why they appear to be marginalized on the political spectrum?
surely the largest should be ruling but instead we see that they are not the ones making the decision.
i also question how integrated rahanweyn are with in somalia, they seem to be just above the minority groups but below the others, would you as a rahanweyn be open to secession? if so how much land would you claim for yourself's
Rahanweyn were marginalized since the independence. Can you imagine that their political party won 26% of the seats in 1950s during colonial times? They didn't get access to opportunities in government, military, business, etc. Their mistake was not taking arms to defend ourselves at the beginning of the civil war. Our peacefulness was misinterpretted as weakness until RRA liberated some of the Rahanweyn land from the Aideed militia. We believe in Somali unity, and a good system of governance where everybody gets their rights and political power based on demographics. We inhabit most of the areas between the two rivers, from Bakool to Bu'aale, from Afgooye to Luuq. The east of Jubba river in Gedo and Middle Jubba is majority Rahanweyn territory.

raxanweynia the free and independent newest nation on earth should be created. this way the good rahanweyn people wont have to deal with mogadishu the accursed cityabrahamic you said that rahanweyn is the largest clan family in somalia so could you explain to us why they appear to be marginalized on the political spectrum?

a great country indeed. i believe the rahanweyn must first consolidate control of the two rivers in somalia, these will come in handy to creating a self sufficient nation.bay and bakool and gedo would make a great state.raxanweynia the free and independent newest nation on earth should be created. this way the good rahanweyn people wont have to deal with mogadishu the accursed city

Hahaha don't make me laugh sudan boy, former arab slave.Official head count in Somalia would show that Rahanweyn is the largest clan family and Isaaq with Dir included is not even a close match. I wonder why some Isaaq on this forum bad mouth Rahanweyn. They probably feel that they would be better off in a future power sharing without Rahanweyn included in the equation. By now most rational Isaaq people have realized the failure of the secession project. Somalia will recover and progress to a situation where political power will be decided by demographics instead of militia or foreign intervention or rhetorical claims.Digil iyo mirif are a bunch of langaabs that formed a union.
But still they are langaab
There is no such thing try again xayawaan.Zoomaaliland is part of Somalia.Yes, rahanweyn is more than hawiye and darood in zoomalia.
According to international law and the international community, Somaliland is a regional state in Somalia. There is no such thing try again xayawaan.Zoomaaliland is part of Somalia.Yes, rahanweyn is more than hawiye and darood in zoomalia.
I dare you to come here and see for yourself a de facto state is nonetheless a country.According to international law and the international community, Somaliland is a regional state in Somalia. There is no such thing try again xayawaan.
Zoomaaliland is part of Somalia.
Recognition will most likely never happen. Your best bet is to become a self-governing region.
It's the cold hard facts sxb. It's just how it works. It's been 25+ years already. Maybe after 25 more years you will finally get the memo. This ictiraaf thing is not happening and it has nothing to do with Darood. The powers that be do not want to recognise Somaliland and you do not have a strong case for changing that perspective.I dare you to come here and see for yourself a de facto state is nonetheless a country.According to international law and the international community, Somaliland is a regional state in Somalia. There is no such thing try again xayawaan.

The jahiiliin darood always sensitive its more likely zoomalia will stay unstable and never peaceful.
