He is not from Berbera or SL. What he says doesn't matter.
He is obviously not only jealous but wishes it failed so his Dooro people can remain closely competitive but all his BS stories are Dooro fears of Berbera and the new Isaaq cashcow that is about to blossom.
The Ras Hawdian movement is very inline with any major and minor investment in SL. The true recognition is investment, jobs, education, skill transfer, international engagement and human capacity development.
It's not always about one controlling 100% of a small fishing town/port.
I rather have 1% of global operation than 100% of sleeping port with little hope of skill transfer and sustainable capital not only to rejuvenate but re-plant the seeds again and again.
Your mission is not to object, to halt, to eradicate, destroy but to improve on where our fathers like the ailing Silanyo got us.
In turn you don't want your kids to be rebellious but innovators and that means showing you can accept your father's mistakes and try to correct them. Your word to them should be; son, don't destroy it, fix it if you know I did it wrong.
If Silanyo made mistakes, how can you fix it than be a useless mucaraad and play the "reer hebel" card? If Bashe takes $1m but we end up with a competitive port that unloads 1 million containers, what is the issue?
That is the Hawdian philosophy.
