driving inside baledweyne!

Post by sahal80 »

Welcome to hawadle capital

Up to 9:00 at the old aargo is one xaafad called xaawo taako. At aargada starts xaafada kooshin, the town center. It's just the center but there is lamagalaay, baar xasan dhiif where ugaas hassan helds the meetings....it's very green area covered by big trees

Still two galbeed xaafado are missing; buundowayn and the gugundhabe xaafad of hawlwadaag

Just like xaawotaako, buundo wayn strateches southward like gambarlaawe on the direction of luuqjelow...that's all hawadle

Wallahi is a mazing to see a woman was received like that. We have one female mps but this time they will be three per women quota

Yarka Facebook a is the guy who survived from the sunken ship where over 400 somalia lost their lives

Hands down, one of the most beautiful town in the whole of Somalia. It is one of only three Skinny towns oo hees ku soo degto, the other two being Baydhabo, and Hargeisa. Allow dowr Baladweyn, iyo magaalooyinka kale ee Soomaliyeed, dadkeedana nabad, barwaaqo iyo bash bash ha ku waaran. Amin

baledweyne is more open but for the non trouble makers bc hawadle though they don't have qabiil feelings they r naturally careful maybe bc they feel they r unique. You see how this is big town is, this is mainly one xaafad out 4 x aafado we just entered the center. Video ends before you reach the hotels and bakhaaraha bc the lady has gone to some luuq also the whole river side is missing yet it's security is good.

Interms of clan, no one will target you per qabiil like not being hawiye it's not like ceelbuur or guriceel if your known to the people there is no one cares about you. Infact in our local shirar you will see mxs and other qabiils oo horboodaya dadka just bc they were born in there like reer xaaji massale, reer ciyaar jecel. We r more like deegaan than qabiil; reer hiiraan.

Mj trade with hiiraan so they have some bakhaaro in baledweyne wich they restore their imported goods. there r some reer khalaf of cumar mahamud

We like trading with people since the region produces alot and is landlocked. Businessmen from hiiraan and djibouti have established a djib-hiiraan company in wich djibouti imports its vegs from hiiraan, they will also bring to us their goods via the new djiboutian airlines.

I think that's a good stragety to have, I believe qabil and business shouldn't be mixed, I agree with you the region has good economic potential and bieng open for business boosts trade, but how bout security? Dude the region is located in a fragile place, how does the region ministers plan to overcome this issue?

[img] our economy depends on north and east of hiiraan. When of the useful things we have learned from the civil war is that our people r now concentrated in hiiraan. Before the mid 90s people were moving to xamar and far off southren regions that was under the USC control, After that people started moving back to hiiraan. What is wrong with the region is being pro govt and xamar wich has stopped all the social, security and economic developments. If there was autonomous administration we could have received direct funds like it was in 2012 with the USAID....now thanks to our new shock that's weaking us up, ugaas hassan who's financial expert and who has worked in the ministry of finance under siaad barre as director of mogadishu and berbera ports has been talking to ethiopia of making new road that goes along the border area from feerfeer, ooxaale to balanbale. Ethiopian-somali ganacsato meeting will be organized in baledweyne wich includes mx. If this road was finished we will have a second road to the central region and ethiopia via balanbale-caabudwaaq, galdogob and galkacyo

Maybe there will be a road from caabudwaaq to shilaab wich will easy us the trade with kililka bc feerfeer-shilabo road is not that secure bc of the liyu police

Hawadle and mx and bahgari have borders inside kililka. We r deep in shilaabo and qalaafe not just like HG who r found around lababaar at the border area

But inside galgaduud there is ayaanle cayr between us until you reach some village called something like mareer on the way to balanbale

https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&sourc ... yj8KvW3YKQ
See this map: red is to matabaan habar who cayr....on the other side we have border with ayaanle cayr but they r not inside hiiraan. This road will be best

Al shabaab have no elements in all the east in ceelbuur direction about 160km and north of baledweyne. Baledweyne is very secure bc of its population. Our problem is in the south east and southwest bc the neighbouring clans who supprt al shabaab.

Dude at the end of the day this region in my view has a lot of potential but that can easily be lost if you folks don't take drastic actions to improve ur security, completly solve your internal matters and lastly what I never understood is why have you guys neglected tangible development, you guys could be a main line to states up north and trade with them and even attract investors, and don't forget investors have no loyalty and will look elsewhere if security isn't in check.

Btw how much are land prices and would you recommend real estate investment in the coming years

Ok

If you r building a nice house by yourself it will cost you less than $50,000.
Ready farm around $15,000, bakhaar rental per room $300 per month

We have less rich people than north, bari and xamar but we have more lower middle class people bc even the nomads have farms let alone the city people...food, veg and fruit r cheaper. We r agro-pastoralists and we have NGOs who help the villagers with irrigation tools

See how cheap is watermelon, they sell it as a package like tomatoes not just by one!
