Of course Somaliland government's has big interests in Ethiopia. The whole port agreement and corridor can not be implemented without without Ethiopian stability , at the other hand most isaaq clan members support the Ethiopian crisis for the sake of hawd and reserved area. This is a rare political occasion between the isaaq clan and the Government of Somaliland. We may see real physical clashes between the two over Ethiopia .

Ethiopia should not be out permanent friend no matter what.if we support the current Ethiopian government than we should get further concessions.

neutrality wont suffice. double dealing however is good though. we should play both sides against each other. meanwhile our price should be development support ethiopia should be asked by us during negotiations to give us a pipeline that goes through it and gives us access to the nile rivers water, this will come in handy for building an agricultural sector that will make idoor masses food self sufficient and millionairs plus provide job opportunities for ever day folks. the other concession we should demand is for our construction companies to be invested in both human capitol i.e engineers from ethiopia work in our companies like najax,daryeel construction company etc..
