Wait why would Eritrea be in the Uncle Sam alliance? They are under harsh UN sanctions and would not benefit under such an alliance, a weak Somalia is also against their interest. They would love a strong Somalia to counter Ethiopia. I believe any smart Somali leader should ally with Eritrea, remember Halyeey Afewerki was a disciple of the blessed revolution. Eritrea also greatly opposes the treacherous Somaliland and advocated for 1 Somalia.

There are no permanent friends in this great game, just interests, and her interest was to just use you against the Ethiopian's as a tool for her survival, she doesn't care a damn about you, the moment she is offered a deal as the UAE and other GCC countries did, she will go along with the plan.

Turkey built around 10K homes in Ethiopia and has a lot of investment their, this gives her some leverage and influence over her, it also has plans to do the same in Somalia, but the mercenaries funded by the evil satanic Axis doing everything to stop her, hence she decided to build a base first to counter this evil and train troops from the whole region.

The Ethiopia today is not yesterday, the evil satanic Axis of America-Eritrea-GCC are ganged up on her for allying with China and smaller extend Turkey, they are Anti progress, development and the advancement of the region, the worst is UAE as her oils are dried up and she needs funds and new markets, hence this pivot.

There are no friends or enemies just interests, and currently all those interests have aligned with themselves, Ethiopia and Kenya both willing to support Shariif or HSM as candidates, Turkey-Qatar axis prefer Shariif due to his brotherhood links, but circumstances are different due to HSM smart moves, so they are willing to go with him as a last resort, anything but CC. I personally prefer Tarzan and Farmaajo from all the candidates.

I agree with you, the problem with Farmaajo is that he has very bad PR team, he is the real dark horse in this race, the rest will likely cancel each other out, if he survives the first 2 rounds he will win, but that's a BIG IF.

That very same Turkey has all kinds of warfare waged against her, coups, multiple terrorist corridors, her contractors being killed by mercenary so called al-shabab etc. Her resilience is remarkable to say the least.
