sl secured all its borders in the sanaag and sool region.

most of the alkabab commanders and foot soldiers are marehans. right now they conflicted about whether to continue with their fake jihad bombings or if they should embrace the new president, a fellow marehan. it's a tough choice to make. hg makes up the next largest group in alkabab, but they lost interest in fighting and some hg fighters have gone back to school to learn how to read/write.
