Worst Drought in decades-famine fears

Postby Strategic » Mon Feb 13, 2017 12:50 pm

This used to occur every few decades but it is becoming yearly draught occurance.Something is not right,Hand-outs are not enough,Animals are dying at an alarming rate due to the drought and the dwindling export markets since the saudi BAN,will takes years and years to recover. :meles:
we have heard abaartii dhabeer, but it looks like that was the tip of the iceberg, they call this LAGAMA-LIITO draught meaning the worst in 60 years.
Doesnt help much that terrorists kuffar like alshabab continue to prey on the draught stricken people in some regions of the south where they deny access to food aid from gaalo. :-O

somalia is slowly turning into real hell-hole :dwill:

The rains likely to fail as we are already in mid February ,this is really looks similar to 2011 famine where 260,000 died due to the terrorist alshabab denying food aid to people in bay and bakool.(if you harbour/tolerate terrorists ,this is usually the result).

what is worse, travelling by road inside the country is difficult as militias on the road will prey on those fleening the draught/famine. :pacspit:

on the other hand, you have Weak gov and AMISOM apes spreading HIV aids through predatory measures.

Somalia is doomed as fk,CANADA here i come.

here is the Article few hours ago.

The drought is also blighting large swaths of neighbouring Kenya, which declared it a national disaster on Friday, and Ethiopia. Neither of these countries is considered at risk of famine because, unlike Somalia, their governments have mobilised resources to help affected communities.
bravo bravo, this is what happens when you have no institutions for a quarter century.
