In almost 15 years AMISOM has made no progress. Because it is not in their interest for the war with Al Shabab to finish. The longer they are there, the more they get paid.

Thats why AMISOM still only controls a tiny part, no progress made, no major gains.

AMISOM also supplies AL Shabab directly. They sell them ammunition, weapons and guns. While Al Shabab sells them agricultural products and charcoal for export!

We even pay them compensation for every AMISOM soldier that is killed. I believe its something like $10,000 per AMISOM soldier that is killed.

The politicians of South Somalia are ok with this because they get a cut from this game. The war in the South is a money making machine

AMISOM soldiers get $1028 per month per soldier. The money is covered by the EU but it's written in Somalia's future account as a debt it owes to the EU.

AMISOM nations have about 22,000 soldiers on the ground in Somalia making them serious money. Each government dedicates $200 administration fees, so that alone generates $4.4 million per month on just administration.

Anyways, each year Somalia gets $271.39 million of debt just from AMISOM

For every soldier AMISOM country loses in Somalia, the compensation is far far greater.

Whatever happened to the Marehan propaganda that Mr Farmaajo would kick AMISOM out within 48 hours?

Amison is making a lot of money I calculated that Uganda government gets about 20million in revenue a year plus about 8 thousand of its soldiers in full time employment wiring that money back to the country.

While the Somali soldiers are doing all the dirty work and not receiving even 100 dollar compare to amison 1000 dollars in salary and protection in equipment, shame on the mugdisho government who are running all over the place.
