As a former resident of that town, Aware along with Rabaso are Cidagale/Isaaq majority. In fact the only Cagdheer there is few that visit to water their camels.

That's the resting place of Mohamed Mooge Liban. Faisal Ali Warabe is from there even though he left for Konfuur and did most of his education in the south. Worked there and married a local Hawiye lady.

Aware is steadily growing even though most people left for Hargeisa.

It's getting a new hospital with a capacity of 20,000 and new boaring school.
