Why some Habashas fear the Oromo gaining their rights...

Postby Waachis » Mon May 22, 2017 7:06 pm

''There is great fear that if the Oromos gained their democratic rights, they might call for the independence of Oromia, with other regions to follow, to threaten the very survival of Ethiopia as a viable political entity. Perhaps as the result of the psychology of rising expectations, the Oromos are experiencing dramatically increased consciousness, and consequently Oromo nationalism is currently at its zenith after the overthrow of the mengistu regime in 1991. Culture and language have been the two rallying factors, which is a common phenomenon in the rise of nationalism. Under the general rubric of Oromo culture, there has been a rise of great interest in the Oromo indigenous methods of conflict resolution.''

why play with plausible scenarios when u ur self do not believe in an independent oromo state. why would habashas fear an idea neither u or millons of oromo do not believe in. by the way there are millions of oromo habashas in ethiopia so u cant divide the 2.

30 million cannon fodding Oromos being ruled under 25 million Amharas for 100 years.

50 million submissive Oromos are ruled by tiny 6 million Tigreans for 20 years and counting...

Yup, they are a big threat!

Meanwhile ten different armies roam the epitome of a failed state-ZOOmalia. Meanwhile, zoomalis are dying from hunger, being raped, etc. I wouldn't talk shit if i were you. It's pointless when your situation is far worse.

The great fear is there, for a reason, because the power to MAKE or BREAK Ethiopia is in the hands of the brave and strong Oromo nation.
Nobody knows what millions of Oromo wants, stop pretending like you've been to OROMIA and asked millions of people their honest desires and opinions.
Doesn't matter, the majority of Oromo want BILISUMMAA, and will eventually get it.... what that entails is up to the Oromo and the Oromo alone....

Ethiopia is a colonial empire, and the Oromo people along with the Somalis in Galbeed were colonized. We were barred from buying guns, whilst the Ethiopians were able to buy hundreds of thousands of guns. Even with this technological superiority, the effeminate Semitic rape babies were defeated by the mighty Arsi warriors who were using bow and arrow.

If the Oromo people decide they want to remove themselves from this colonial empire, then nobody, especially an isaaq looser whose identity is based on the British colonizers, can do anything to stop you guys.

lion oromo is much more then arsi arsi are olf because they fought menelik but shewan and wollo oromo stood with the great menelik. till the bitter end so oromo share no history of one political association. habasha cannot fear oromo because oromo is partly habasha. besides oromo division will.make sure that amhara can take advantage of that situation

There's a common goal and the protests that raged from shewa to borana to hararghe proved that. That common goal is removing tigray domination and ruling our own lands. That doesn't mean secession but it can be secession if the majority vote for it. The habasha have always feared the Oromo that's why they purposely, in the past, kept us undereducated. The Oromo of today are way different from those of the past. No Oromo will fight for tigray or amhara. This alone guarantees a bright future. The amhara can't get power without Oromo support. The tigray can't rule indefinitely and will eventually run and secede because they know how it feels to rule, and be ruled, so they won't accept being ruled again especially by Oromo and Amhara their enemies. The future of Ethiopia is very uncertain and the majority of analysts and ?educated people agree. A few isaaq opportunist who depend on tplf can't change that.
