Kenya is a good example of where Democracy has failed to unite people.

Every election season tribal hatred is on the rise ever since democracy began in 2002. Kenya never had such polarization even during the dictatorship of Moi.
Now the opposition is claiming to have 10 million voters, the government is denying. This country is on edge every election season, every 5 years.
They should set presidential terms of 20 years if the country is under threat of civil war every 5 years. To hell with democracy.
People here still believe the Somali population in 1970 would understand what democracy means.
Kenyans who are less warring and tribal than Somalis and they still don't understand democracy you think Somalis will under one central government.
The only way you can unite Somalis in a central government is via iron fist dictatorship otherwise federal qaabil mini states is the other only option
