so let's compare muqdisho's 2016 ramadan with muqdisho's 2017 ramadan, which one was more peaceful. we all remember how much farmaajo and kheyre tried so hard to make 2017 ramadan so peaceful BUT failed so BAD.

- all 2017 Ramadan deaths added = 90 deaths.

yet the head of national intelligence and security agency of Somalia tried comparing 2016 in general with Ramadan 2017.

2016 (in general) deaths = 120 - 80 explosion deaths and 40 assasinated.
2017 ramadan = 90 - 50 explosion deaths and 40 assasinated.

Imagine comparing 2016 with 2017 in general? if you add other explosions and assassinations that happened in 2017 it's 2x the killings that happened 2016 although 2017 is halfway the year and have 6 more months left.
