I have never heard in my entire life a oromo liberation army fighting the Tigrean army to the bitre end in any major fight , demonstration do not count . when are we gonna see the youth of Oromia fight for freedom , you see freedom dont only need slogans it needs tears sweat and dheeg. The Oromo need guns desperately ..you're forgetting that we're landlocked and surrounded by countries the tplf has scared of it, while somalis have ports and once had soviet help with building your strong army you used in the ogaden war. And now you have big Turkish EU and others help. Who do Oromos have? Besides ourselves?
We also have traitors among us but less now than in the 1990s. You see in the early 1990s we had a 50,000 strong army, poorly equipped but highly motivated and very much popular in oromia, then a Christian Marxist Oromo named Leenco proposed that all armies including ours be disarmed and encamped for the then upcoming elections to be free of Armed Forces. Then tplf the Eritrean's and the rest of the eprdf attacked the mostly disarmed Oromo liberation army. Out armies even took part in capturing the capital and other areas in oromia during the 80s and 90s.
And then in the late 90s the Oromo found an ally in Mohammed Farrah aideed and Eritrea while tplf armed rival somali clans fighting aideed.

dear all, let me state some facts first:

1. oromos are as brave as you. we are no better or worse than you. only way to be superior, in the eyes of Allah is through having more piety. not having more guns, more cash, more women, etc. so if you willingly fight us, to keep tigray in power, then we will fight you too, with no fear. our cause is just, we fight to stop being killed/raped/exploited by ethiopia, so if we die fighting you for that, Allah gives us an one-way ticket to jannah, but those who die to keep oppressing us and others, will get an-one-way ticket to hell fire. so it's a win-win for oromos, in the dunya and akhirat. you will not be able to stop us, for long, it's a matter of time before oromia is free, and you either see us capturing the capital as part of an independent oromia; or as one ethiopia with us ruling. do u wanna be on the wrong side of history???

2. oromos, in general, do not harbor ill feelings towards Somalis. we see them as our kin, along with the afar, saho, konso, and so many other neighbors. meanwhile, u have nothing in common with tigrayans, from borders to religion to culture to language.

3. oromos are oppressed themselves, so why would they deliberately fight somalis, and create more enemies for ourselves? put emotions aside and use your brain man!

4. cooler heads must prevail, which is why our elders are handling, and not your evil, angry, and over-emotional youth. senseless killing will get you nowhere.

5. try to be fair and wait until there's some proof established. why would u take the word of tplf/abd'tigray'iley, at face value, before researching things for yourself? did you just meet tplf/liyyus leaders? all are liars! hulum wushetam new! and if oromos did it, they should be held accountable for it, like anyone, justice is justice, and should be established regardless of who it's against/or for.

6. do not forget that the liyyu police massacred oromos too, and they are not innocent beings, and also remember that our brave warriors killed over 200 in self defense! and do not forget it's tplf who is trying to use you to die fighting oromos, while hating you to the death and hating us a lot more, since the oromos are their single biggest threat. why would u want to die fighting oromos, just to keep a handful of tigrayans in power, the same tigrayans who has the blood of somalis, from mogadishu to jigjiga, on their hands?

7. when they first invaded somalia, they were looking for oromo fighters, who were given aid and shelter by muhammad farah aideed.
the somali and oromo issue is inter connected, and tplf is trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. do not be surprised if tplf tries to kill abdi and disarm and dismantle liyyu in the near future.

The only fight between Oromo and Tigre happened in early 90s where 4000 Oromo POW had been captured in a single day. All Oromos do is demonstrations where they kill innocent civilians or get killed. The most powerful heavily-armed Oromo "OPDO" are in bed with TPLF, and here, you're using every sentence Abdi-iley this and that. Start your fight in Showa, Jimma, Mekelle, Wallo, not in Harerge.. where you abuse the minority living there on a daily basis. the road to Mekelle is that way.
