I am sure they have a lot of public support so if it wants to get rid of the system , what is the alternative , 18 region system where they choose the governors ?

The gov wants federal states but they are against federal states having independant foreign policy.

government doesnt decide what kind of governing structure the country gets. its enshrined in the constitution. sfg came becaus of federalism. no state will accept to be ruled from mogadishu.

imagine if usa says no longer federalism. this cant be changed.

We must find common ground and what is good for the country and its people
I dont think its good idea if we are forever divided on trible lines that is exactly what a number of counries want Ethiopia being number one

What public support? Thr govt have only qabil support from both besha kuwait and Reer Duunta lagoo aka Diini.
