Uganda presence in mogadishu takes a dangerous bend

Postby sahal80 » Mon Oct 23, 2017 10:39 pm

I always say Xamar needs strong leader and by this i mean first to be local and secondly to be a principled person not afarjeeble

Had sheikh sharif sticked to the resistance principles of not relying on foreign troops al shabaab wouldnt had a foothold in xamar and jowhar. Some would think i keep braging about this stuff but i keep mentioning it for example. Ethiopia had withdrawn from baladweyne in november 2008 and until sep 2009 we had the only regional pro govt admin in hiiraan. All koonfur like shsbeeloiyinka, bakool, gedo and jubbas were under the control of al shabaab.

The reason hiiraan was different was bc of omar hashi who was keeping together our islamusts and traditional politicians. For example sheekh macow was the governor and general mukhat was the army commander. After his assasination with 70 wax garad we lost this balance bc of useless politicians like sanbalolshe who replaced him in the govt. At this time they started accepting to bring back ethiopia in the regions wicch is the reason why our principled governor dissolved the admin

At that time, pirates had control in cadaado and xareerdheere and ahlussuna was operating in dhuusamareeb, Galmudug was like a city-State so you see there was big chsnce to link all the central regiins to Xamar. We lost this chance and finally al shabaab took over hiiraan in 2010 bc of culayska xamar and jowhar and ceelbuur

New Galmudug has less security problems but it has structural problem. Its composed of himanheeb and former Galmudug. Cadaado bc of the money so when xaaf tried to close the airport the local militias started to disobey him to keep the money going on. This govt wants to bring amisom to this proud city!

More ugandan troops will get things worse. I doubt any wadani who doesnt know these african regimes r here for their interests to attract the west. Now uganda wants to send special units with jet fighters!

Ugabda is taking adcantage of this weak president who relays on weak pm. All they care is not to librate the land feom al shabaab they are worry about local SNA evacuating shabeelooyinka.

They said they will move to afgooye the army kkkkk

They feared for themselves and now they r calling for more ugandan troops :snoop:

Its time for the people in xamar to retore back their leadership instead of relying on strangers and foreigners and elect princpled leader

"The development could as well see Uganda’s stay in Somalia prolonged in an open-ended campaign against the militants.

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen David Muhoozi recently traveled to Somalia where he met with senior Somalia commanders on building the country’s security forces to manage its challenges.

Officials say Uganda lacks the vast resource base needed to conduct long-term counter-insurgency operations unless African Union is willing to cut down on its bureaucracy in releasing funds for AMISOM operations.

If these Xamar elites spent half as much time countering Al Shabab as the do opposing successive Somali Govts, the terrorists would have been eradicated long ago. :)

If people of Mogadishu act like this brave lady; they would not need any Ugandans in their city
