The Oromos who converted to Christianity started to ally with the abbisyinians, Muslims went on there own ways etc etc. There was never a movement besides the early ABO days that was established for the interest of Oromos. ABO has that interest, it wasn’t based on Clan, region or religion, just Oromuuma.

The closest to that is the current Qeerro who have interest for all Oromo, but don’t want to hurt anyone so there is no guns involved.

in the past, sure, but today we are more united than before. religious and regional issues are not holding us back. lack of guns and a centralized leadership is our problem.
we haven't learned from our ancestors mistakes, it seems, and remain doomed to repeat what they did.
ABO even collapsed because of poor leadership and not enough guns.
while eplf and tplf had tanks, artillery and so on; ABO had small light arms and that's it.
poor leadership issues as well; half of them wanted independence, other half=autonomy within 1 ethiopia.

I am not mixed with any habasha, and if i were, i'd admit it, and there's nothing to be ashamed of.
... but do have some Silte Muslim relatives. But 90% or more of my blood and family=Oromos.
moms side=eastern oromo. family in bale, arsi (same people, different names).
dads side=southwest and western oromo (jimma, naqamte, wallaga, ilubabor, etc).
