yes sir, its just that our leaders were always targets, and we lacked the arms/organization, to keep them defended.
at the end of the day, brain power wins over guns, look at meles. hate him or not, he won because he had the brains and shrewd diplomacy skills, because in battle, he ran away, and was a coward. his wife, azeb, was the fighter in the family, and he was the brains.
we have different dialects, but if you speak afaan oromo decently, or know enough, you can communicate with others.
i grew up hearing relatives from the east, speak to relatives in the south, or west, with little to no problems.

Meles was smart he went to college in Holland Erasmus universities he was a smart fellow i like me meles zenawi leggese he is smarter than isias afewerki.
I know meles legesse I visited mekelle I know professor Abraham tedhese who teaches in hargeysa. Adams university i think meles is half eritean i think isias did the fighting because eplf was stronger than tplf in terms of fire power king faisal supported them king faisal hated haile selassie king faisal gave Shabia millions of dollars.
We know eritreans isaaqs lived in Saudi Arabia since the world. Eriteans were helped by the saudis
