Hello

Welcome to Somaliland
For prepared voyagers looking for an absolutely abnormal travel understanding, Somaliland is an unquestionable requirement. What another place on the planet you be able to visit a nation that doesn't formally exist? While whatever is left of Somalia has been a restricted area for voyagers for two decades, the self-declared Republic of Somaliland has reestablished lawfulness inside its limits. Here the wellbeing of Westerners is considered important and outsiders are welcome.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise against all travel to Somalia, including Somaliland except for the cities of Hargeisa and Berbera to which the FCO advise against all but essential travel. Any British nationals in areas of Somalia to which the FCO advise against all travel should leave. Any British nationals in Hargeisa or Berbera who are not on essential travel should leave.
